By writing traditional (trad) RPG, I mean that the game is a typical RPG. That might be a first person Dungeon crawler or even an action rpg.
Sim RPG is the simulation RPG. That means it has RPG elements but the gameplay has a simulation "core".
Simulation games are those strange Japanese games like Desire, EVE etc where the player interacts with the NPCs with static or animated pics and text~ and chooses the right answer. Sometimes the gameplay is not based in static pics (or animated) and you can see the main character in a 3rd person, horizontal view like the typical RPGs.
Adventure RPGs are similar to Simulations but the explore part is more obvious.
Tactical and Strategy RPGs are well known to Legendra so I dont have to explain these words I used above 🙂
