Yu're right: the my Top RPG is old, old and old... I must to update it as you know, and for your demand, yes, because I love any RPG above all for PlayStation 1, 2 and PSP, then GameCube & GBA + NDS, then again PC-Engine CD and Super Famicom/SNES.
In fact, I would say this better my ranking staff who love to play more often:
Consoles:
1° - PlayStation and Super NES
2° - GameCube, PC-Engine CD
3° - PlayStation 2
Handhelds:
1° - NDS
2° - PSP
3° - GBA
I loved an ocean of RPGs for several years (now my "experience" should be "adult" 😃) so I can not put 100 or 300 RPGs on my personal Top: I limit some series that I love:
1° - Final Fantasy & Chocobo & Kingdom Hearts (forever!)
2° - Tales of...
3° - Suikoden
4° - Dragon Quest
5° - Ultima
6° - Zelda
7° - Wizardry
8° - Castlevania
9° - D&D
X° - Megaten
I played Suikoden II many years ago, but unfortunately I was enchanted by a beautiful atmosphere so much until I was petrified.
The first Suikoden was that I became indecisive to choose to replace Final Fantasy but it was impossible: forever I love any RPGs! 😃
