I created another kewl thread for you guyz. I'll post here the titles of the, in my view, best Asian moviez ever (mainly Chinese, HK, Taiwnese and the like moviez, only a few Japanese and Korean movies (I think you already saw them- and I somehow like the others more(though, I love JP moviez))).

I think they all are "must have seen" moviez; you won't regret to have rent them from your favorite DVD/tapes store.

I'll later edit the posts again to add stuff like production year, actors, information's and pics to them. I'll also add in which language you should watch them (like HK moviez: "Should I watch them in Mandarin or Cantonese, huh"?)

EDIT: You should always buy the Original Hong Kong/Chinese DVD'S of the movies if possible. Hong Kong DVD are mostly region-free DVD's, and Chinese DVD are Region 3 DVD's. All of them should have at least English subtitles.

Oh man, this movie is awesome. The actors had no script so everything what they say is REAL- no stupid text, all real. It's bloody, sad, kewl, erotic, funny, have kewl songs and GREAT actors- one of the best moviez ever, I tell ya. By the way, it's the 3rd episode of the the love stories of his other movie, Chunking Express.

You should get the Hong Kong "Special Cut" version of this movie, it has some deleted scenes and stuff like that. And it's a 'region free' DVD. The original language of this movie is Cantonese- be sure to watch it in this language.

Download here the recorded opening theme of the movie (MP3, 1,47Mb)- I'll delete this after 2days from the server (I've deleted the Dawn of War Intro movie for that).

I think the english title is in fact "house of flying daggers"...

besides, it doesn't really mean anything, a flying house.... LOL

Ha ha. However, it's a nice movie, worth a look. The Special Cut version is little longer as the version they rated.

However, you're right. In my view, it's a nice movie, but not as good as "THE STORM RIDERS". Some people like the movie, other's don't.

But I'll delete it from the list.... but you should rent it anyway. The end of the movie is simply awesome- they destroy the WHOLE Statue of Liberty while they fight to it's feet, in it, and ON it. Really kewl. And the music is often really nice too. I like it, but it has many parts which I don't like too (the second fight with the Japanese peeps is just boring...).

If you want to check the other moviez, sure, go straight ahead. You'll see that they r the best ya can find (as I said, except A man called Hero).

A Man Called Hero is a very good movie, I have loved it, as Storm Riders which is very good too, if it isn't better. :wub: , one of the most beautiful girls of this world.

I really like it too. But, some scenes are just boring, especially the 1st fight with the Japanese..... booooring.
