I presume that usually the screens in version PC98 are rectangle format and in version Famicom are in square format.

Then, my any question are: where does the source of information on the existence of rpg (Dragon Quest) for PC-98 from? I guess that this information would be passed from site to site, maybe if someone originally has invented to put on the support PC98?

Beware of those videos.

Some japanese websites said that DQ for PC98 was doujin or beta/unreleased.

There was even a study on the code to determine that.

I haven't ever seen a single material picture of box, or content of the box, even partially of that version in my life, and I think that it would be easier to find a 7 € note on the ground.

Other almost-impossible rare games like Zelda Charumera edition at least have some proof, very very rare but they exist. (Now Super Potato shop even has one copy, LOL)

For the first XZR (or Exile or エグザイル), there's one cover that existing for PC98, here: (was released in August 1988) but for MSX2, it's hard to find one cover (it exist and maybe is rare).
