Vaan - Shikari, Archer, Monk, Samurai, White Mage
Balthier - Red Mage, Black Mage
Fran - Machinist Breaker
Basch - Samurai Shikari Archer, White Mage (Great Swords ), Red mage ( great Swords )
Ashe - Time Mage, Samurai, Monk ( heal / support spells )
Penelo - Knight, Uhlan ( Black magics )
By following these suggestions your characters may reach the hightest atributes on that job, without wasting STR or MAG points, got it?...no? Ok I`ll explain.
Samurai Job
As you should know Samurai can equip Katanas which depends on STR and MAG to deal more damage.
Ashe lvl 99 as Samurai
STR - 73 ( innate ) + 9 ( Genji Helm ) + 9 ( Genji Armor ) + 8 ( licence augments [ 2 * need Zeromus to bridge] ) = 99 STR
MAG - 78 (innate ) + 4 ( genji Helm ) + 3 ( Genji Armor ) + 14 ( License Augments [ 2* need unlock 2 especific Mist knacks on the license to Bridge ] ) = 99 MAG
Got it now, by giving Samurai job to Ashe and giving her Zeromus esper you`ll get max atributes in STR and MAG without a waste of STR or MAG points ( 99 STR and 99 MAG ).
Also Zeromus esper is not so important for another Job except for Time Mages ( unlock MAG Break and MAG DEF Break techs ).
Now let`s se Vaan as Samurai
STR - 78 ( innate ) + 9 ( Genji Helm ) + 5 ( Lordly Robe ) + 8 ( licence augments [ 2 * need Zeromus to bridge] ) = 100 STR
MAG - 73 (innate ) + 4 ( genji Helm ) + 15 ( Lordly Robe ) + 14 ( License Augments [ 2* need unlock 2 especific Mist knacks on the license to Bridge ] ) = 106 MAG
You see? his final status should be 100 STR and 106 MAG by equiping Lordly Robe, although
atributes are Capped on 99, so be giving Samurai job to Vaan you may be wasting 1 STR and 7 MAG, in my opinion the best choice for a Samurai would be Ashe and giving Vaan another Job like a Archer or Shikari.»
